Before
“Before contacting Sophie, we had tried everything. Earlier bedtimes, later bedtimes, longer wake windows, shorter naps, extra feeds before bed… nothing seemed to work. She would wake in the middle of the night and stay awake for up to 3 hours. Feeding wouldn’t get her back to sleep, she was wide awake and just wanted to play. We had no idea what we were doing wrong.”
After
“We adjusted her schedule to better match her developmental needs. After the first night, her 3-hour wake dropped to just 30 minutes. By night 5, she was sleeping through the night. I still cannot believe it!”
Sonia, mom a 13-month old
Before
“My baby would only sleep while latched. The moment I unlatched her, she would wake up. She was waking every 45 minutes, couldn’t connect sleep cycles, and every nap was a contact nap. I was completely exhausted.”
After
“Sophie gave us a clear plan and supported us every step of the way. My baby now naps and sleeps in her own crib, in her own bedroom, just like I had dreamed of. I didn’t even know it was possible! She falls asleep in around 10 minutes and only wakes twice a night for a feed.”
Lucy, mom of a 4,5-month old
Before
“My son was 18 months old when I finally contacted Sophie. I was completely exhausted and honestly starting to lose hope. He was waking every single hour, every single night. I was barely surviving and it was affecting everything. We had tried everything, and at that point, I would have considered 5 wake-ups a night a huge success.”
After
“Sophie completely changed our nights. She quickly understood what was keeping our son stuck in this cycle and showed us exactly what needed to change, while adapting everything to him and what we felt comfortable with.
Within the first 3 nights, we went from around 8 wake-ups to just 3. After one week, he was sleeping through the night. I genuinely never thought that was possible for us. I only wish I had reached out sooner.”
Rachel, mom of a 18-month old
HOW IT WORKS
Three steps to better sleep
No complicated process and no generic sleep plan. We look at the full picture, understand what’s affecting your baby’s sleep, and find an approach that fits your baby and your family.
1 – Tell me what’s going on
Before our consultation, you’ll complete a detailed sleep assessment covering your baby’s sleep, feeding, routine, development, environment and temperament.
Then we’ll meet 1:1 to understand what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what needs to change.
2 – Get your personalised plan
You’ll receive a clear, step-by-step sleep plan built specifically for your baby based on their age, sleep needs, temperament and your family’s goals.
No generic templates and no one-size-fits-all sleep training. You’ll know what to do, when to do it, and why.
3 – Put the plan into action
Now we make it work in real life. Depending on the support you choose, I’ll be there to guide you, answer questions and adjust the plan based on how your baby responds.
Because the right approach isn’t about following a method at all costs, it’s about responding to the baby in front of us.
Meet your consultant
Hi, I’m Sophie!
Before becoming a certified Infant & Child Sleep Consultant, I spent over five years working as an international nanny specialising in infants and toddlers.
Caring for babies with very different temperaments taught me early on that one size doesn’t fit all, and that belief is now at the heart of my work.
Today, I combine years of hands-on experience with evidence-based sleep knowledge to create personalised recommendations based on your baby’s age, needs, development and temperament, while always respecting your parenting philosophy.
Because better sleep starts with understanding your baby.

FAQ
Every baby is different and temperament plays a big role in how they respond to sleep changes. A strategy that works beautifully for one baby may be completely wrong for another.
That’s why I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. Your baby’s plan is built around their age, sleep needs, feeding, development, environment and, importantly, their unique temperament, as well as what feels right for your family.
We don’t try to make your baby fit the method. We find the approach that fits your baby.
I don’t believe there is one sleep method that works for every baby. I use a range of evidence-informed approaches, and the one we choose will depend on your baby’s age, needs, temperament, and your parenting style.
Some babies respond best to a very gradual, hands-on approach, while others actually do better with a little more space and a more direct method. Your baby’s temperament helps us understand which approach is likely to suit them best.
I will never use Cry It Out, and I will never ask you to do something you are not comfortable with. We’ll choose the approach together, and you are always in control of how we support your baby’s sleep.
Not at all. With newborns, the focus isn’t on sleep training, it’s about building healthy sleep foundations from the very beginning, while respecting your baby’s needs and development.
I’ll help you understand your baby’s sleep patterns and cues, create an age-appropriate rhythm, and introduce gentle habits that can support better sleep as your baby grows.
My newborn consultation and ebook are specifically designed to give you practical guidance and confidence during those first months.
Every baby is different, but many families start noticing positive changes within the first 3-5 days. For some babies, progress happens quickly, while others need a little more time to adjust.
How quickly things improve will depend on your baby’s age, temperament, the sleep challenges we’re working on, and the approach we choose together.
If you choose a support package, I’ll be there along the way to see how your baby responds and make adjustments when needed because progress doesn’t always follow a straight line.
The sleep consulting industry is unregulated, so choosing a high-quality, evidence-based training was incredibly important to me.
I completed my certification through Baby Sleep Consultant Training (New Zealand), a science-based program taught by a multidisciplinary team including paediatric psychologists, doctors, dietitians and lactation consultants.
Before becoming a sleep consultant, I spent over 5 years working as a nanny for international families, specialising in infants and toddlers. This hands-on experience, combined with my training, has given me a deep understanding of how different babies can be, especially when it comes to their needs and temperament.
Above everything, your baby’s safety and wellbeing will always be my number one priority.
You don’t need to figure it out on your own. I offer a free 15-minute discovery call where we’ll briefly discuss what’s going on with your baby’s sleep, and I’ll guide you towards the support that makes the most sense for your situation.
No pressure, no obligation, just a chance to find the right next step for your family.
Absolutely not. Feeding and comforting are important ways of responding to your baby, and night weaning is never an automatic part of my approach.
We’ll look at your baby’s age, feeding needs, development and current sleep patterns to understand what they genuinely need overnight. If reducing night feeds or changing the way you respond to wakes is one of your goals, we’ll do it gradually and in a way that feels right for you and your baby.
You will never be asked to ignore your baby’s needs or stop offering comfort.
Absolutely. You don’t need to change your entire parenting approach to improve your baby’s sleep. I can support families who co-sleep, and I will never ask you to stop co-sleeping if that isn’t one of your goals.
We’ll start from where you are now, look at what’s working and what isn’t, and focus only on the changes that you actually want to make for your family.
A sleep plan is not set in stone. Every baby responds differently, which is why ongoing support can be so valuable.
If something isn’t working, we’ll look at how your baby is responding, identify what needs adjusting and adapt the plan along the way. Sometimes even small changes can make a big difference.
The goal is never to force your baby to fit the plan, we adapt the plan to fit your baby.
