Will this work for my baby?
Every baby is different and temperament plays a big role in how they respond to sleep changes. A strategy that works beautifully for one baby may be completely wrong for another.
That’s why I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. Your baby’s plan is built around their age, sleep needs, feeding, development, environment and, importantly, their unique temperament, as well as what feels right for your family.
We don’t try to make your baby fit the method. We find the approach that fits your baby.
What sleep methods do you use?
I don’t believe there is one sleep method that works for every baby. I use a range of evidence-informed approaches, and the one we choose will depend on your baby’s age, needs, temperament, and your parenting style.
Some babies respond best to a very gradual, hands-on approach, while others actually do better with a little more space and a more direct method. Your baby’s temperament helps us understand which approach is likely to suit them best.
I will never use Cry It Out, and I will never ask you to do something you are not comfortable with. We’ll choose the approach together, and you are always in control of how we support your baby’s sleep.
My baby is a newborn. Is it too early to get help?
Not at all. With newborns, the focus isn’t on sleep training, it’s about building healthy sleep foundations from the very beginning, while respecting your baby’s needs and development.
I’ll help you understand your baby’s sleep patterns and cues, create an age-appropriate rhythm, and introduce gentle habits that can support better sleep as your baby grows.
My newborn consultation and ebook are specifically designed to give you practical guidance and confidence during those first months.
How quickly will I see results?
Every baby is different, but many families start noticing positive changes within the first 3-5 days. For some babies, progress happens quickly, while others need a little more time to adjust.
How quickly things improve will depend on your baby’s age, temperament, the sleep challenges we’re working on, and the approach we choose together.
If you choose a support package, I’ll be there along the way to see how your baby responds and make adjustments when needed because progress doesn’t always follow a straight line.
What are your qualifications?
The sleep consulting industry is unregulated, so choosing a high-quality, evidence-based training was incredibly important to me.
I completed my certification through Baby Sleep Consultant Training (New Zealand), a science-based program taught by a multidisciplinary team including paediatric psychologists, doctors, dietitians and lactation consultants.
Before becoming a sleep consultant, I spent over 5 years working as a nanny for international families, specialising in infants and toddlers. This hands-on experience, combined with my training, has given me a deep understanding of how different babies can be, especially when it comes to their needs and temperament.
Above everything, your baby’s safety and wellbeing will always be my number one priority.
I'm not sure which package I need
You don’t need to figure it out on your own. I offer a free 15-minute discovery call where we’ll briefly discuss what’s going on with your baby’s sleep, and I’ll guide you towards the support that makes the most sense for your situation.
No pressure, no obligation, just a chance to find the right next step for your family.
Will I have to stop feeding or comforting my baby at night?
Absolutely not. Feeding and comforting are important ways of responding to your baby, and night weaning is never an automatic part of my approach.
We’ll look at your baby’s age, feeding needs, development and current sleep patterns to understand what they genuinely need overnight. If reducing night feeds or changing the way you respond to wakes is one of your goals, we’ll do it gradually and in a way that feels right for you and your baby.
You will never be asked to ignore your baby’s needs or stop offering comfort.
Can you help if we co-sleep or contact nap?
Absolutely. You don’t need to change your entire parenting approach to improve your baby’s sleep. I can support families who co-sleep, and I will never ask you to stop co-sleeping if that isn’t one of your goals.
We’ll start from where you are now, look at what’s working and what isn’t, and focus only on the changes that you actually want to make for your family.
What happens if the plan isn't working?
A sleep plan is not set in stone. Every baby responds differently, which is why ongoing support can be so valuable.
If something isn’t working, we’ll look at how your baby is responding, identify what needs adjusting and adapt the plan along the way. Sometimes even small changes can make a big difference.
The goal is never to force your baby to fit the plan, we adapt the plan to fit your baby.
